A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Sedona, AZ, providing specialized support to students within a school environment. This role requires travel to various educational settings to deliver direct therapy and collaborate with educators and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on identified needs and educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with educational and healthcare regulations
- Monitor and report on student progress while adjusting therapy plans as necessary
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional recommendations
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- State licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, families, and school personnel
- Ability to manage a caseload and work independently while traveling between sites
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs and scheduling requirements
