Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Active SLP licensure for Texas or eligibility for reciprocal credentialing
  • Previous experience working within a school setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to serving diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy to students with a wide range of speech and language needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical insights to planning and review processes
  • Deliver educational support and training to staff and parents as needed
