There are two dynamic roles available: a full-time, on-site contract position at a local high school as well as a part-time, 24-hour per week on-site position, each offering the chance to make a lasting impact on students’ communication skills and overall learning experiences.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
- Experience or strong interest in working within school environments
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Commitment to evidence-based practices in assessment and intervention
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver targeted therapy to students addressing a variety of communication needs
- Work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families
- Document student progress and contribute to IEP meetings
- Offer consultative support and training to school staff, as needed
- Maintain compliance with relevant federal, state, and local regulations
