Desired Qualifications:
- Valid California licensure as an SLP-CCC, SLP-CF, or SLPA
- Experience working with K-12 student populations in school environments
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and individualized educational planning
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage students, families, and staff
- Enthusiasm for team-based care and culturally responsive practices
- Ability to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement effective therapy interventions for students
- Create individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress towards goals
- Provide both direct and consultative therapy services in classroom and pull-out settings
- Work in partnership with teachers, support staff, and families to advance student outcomes
- Maintain thorough and timely records and contribute to student eligibility evaluations
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams
- Stay current on best practices and contribute to a positive school community
