Make a real impact supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a contract position ideal for those passionate about helping young learners thrive. In this school-based role, you’ll use your clinical expertise and creative energy to assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for children with communication disorders.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of students with speech and language needs.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that address students’ unique communication goals.
  • Delivering engaging therapy sessions in both individual and group settings.
  • Closely monitoring and documenting student progress, making adjustments to interventions as needed.
  • Collaborating closely with teachers, specialists, and other members of a multidisciplinary support team for integrated student care.
  • Empowering and engaging families, guiding them throughout the therapy process to encourage participation at home.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure or the ability to obtain licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome.
  • Prior experience with pediatric or school-aged populations is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and within a team.
  • State board-approved license required.
