A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract position in a school setting located in Semmes, AL. This onsite role primarily serves students from PreK through 6th grade and offers a part-time schedule of three days per week, with the potential to increase to full-time.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or eligibility
- Experience providing speech-language services within a school setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students in grades PreK-6
- Deliver therapy services focused on improving communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide communication goals
Location:
- Onsite position based in Semmes, AL
Work Schedule:
- Contract position starting ASAP and continuing through the end of the school year (EOSY)
- Initial commitment of three days per week with an option to transition to full-time availability
