A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract position in a school setting located in Semmes, AL. This onsite role primarily serves students from PreK through 6th grade and offers a part-time schedule of three days per week, with the potential to increase to full-time.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or eligibility
  • Experience providing speech-language services within a school setting

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students in grades PreK-6
  • Deliver therapy services focused on improving communication skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide communication goals

Location:

  • Onsite position based in Semmes, AL

Work Schedule:

  • Contract position starting ASAP and continuing through the end of the school year (EOSY)
  • Initial commitment of three days per week with an option to transition to full-time availability
