Discover a fulfilling opportunity to support students’ communication and learning as an onsite school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time contract role near Seneca, SC. Join a collaborative team of 17 district SLPs, providing services at Blue Ridge Elementary with a manageable caseload capped at 60 students. You’ll work with a mild caseload that includes some students who use AAC and those with ASD or who are nonverbal. The role offers the chance to help students make meaningful progress in their academic and social lives.

We welcome applications from SLPs with their CCC or those seeking their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), as well as SLPA candidates. New graduates and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply!

Ideal Qualifications:

  • South Carolina SLP license and LLR; teaching certification (may begin while pending)
  • Experience or interest in pediatric and educational settings
  • Comfortable with onsite, in-person service delivery
  • Familiarity with AAC, ASD, and supporting nonverbal students
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
  • Open to SLP, CF, or SLPA candidates

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Assess, diagnose, and track progress on mild caseloads, primarily at Blue Ridge Elementary
  • Collaborate with a large team of fellow SLPs and educational staff to implement therapy plans
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
  • Employ both traditional therapy approaches and augmentative communication strategies as needed
