Desired Skills and Experience:
- Current or pending Speech-Language Pathology license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or healthcare setting strongly preferred
- Extensive knowledge of evaluation, therapy, and progress monitoring in speech-language pathology
- Collaborative approach when partnering with educators, specialists, and parents
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings of students referred for speech-language and/or communication concerns
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to students individually and in groups
- Document progress and collaborate on reports for stakeholders
- Consult with general and special education staff to devise classroom strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings as a trusted resource for speech and language development
- Support ongoing professional development and school initiatives
