Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Holds a current state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY accepted)
  • Holds or is eligible for state certification for school-based practice
  • Previous experience in school settings is highly desirable
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a support team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students of varying ages
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy sessions, both individually and in small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff to ensure optimal student progress
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the RTI/MTSS process as needed
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
