What you’ll bring:
- Valid and active state licensure as an SLP or eligibility as an SLP-CF
- Strong background working in schools, pediatrics, or teletherapy
- Competency with AAC devices and interventions
- Experience serving elementary school-aged children or a strong interest in doing so
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability, ready to respond quickly to student needs
Your responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students, tailoring interventions to individual needs
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Provide AAC device assessment, training, and support for students and staff
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, families, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive student support
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions
