This contract role offers the chance to provide speech-language services while covering two consecutive maternity leaves, ensuring students experience uninterrupted support from August through January.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligible)
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and students
  • Excellent assessment, intervention, and communication skills

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload in school settings
  • Administer evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and track student progress according to required timelines
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other educational professionals to support each student’s communication goals and educational success
  • Maintain timely and organized documentation in compliance with state and district policies
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding progress and strategies for continued support at home
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings, providing insights that help tailor educational plans for student needs
