Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current and active Speech-Language Pathology state license required
  • SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials accepted
  • Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
  • AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) device experience is essential
  • Passion for working with elementary-aged students
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong communication, organization, and technology skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to elementary students in accordance with IEPs
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans
  • Implement a variety of therapy techniques, including AAC-based strategies
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families for holistic support
  • Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
