This contract, full-time opportunity calls for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students’ communication and language development needs during core school hours, 8am to 4pm.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) also considered
- Experience working with children in school settings, collaborating with educational teams
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs, progress monitoring, and data collection
- Effective communication and organizational skills
What You’ll Do:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop, implement, and review IEPs in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to maximize student success
- Document session notes, maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, and support school initiatives as needed
- Use evidence-based practices and materials tailored to support diverse student needs
