Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Shawnee, KS

This contract, full-time opportunity calls for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students’ communication and language development needs during core school hours, 8am to 4pm.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) also considered
• Experience working with children in school settings, collaborating with educational teams
• Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs, progress monitoring, and data collection
• Effective communication and organizational skills

What You’ll Do:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop, implement, and review IEPs in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to maximize student success
• Document session notes, maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, and support school initiatives as needed
• Use evidence-based practices and materials tailored to support diverse student needs
