Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility in Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to create a positive, inclusive environment for students of diverse backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, identify, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct therapy sessions and consult with teachers, parents, and staff
- Monitor progress, maintain documentation, and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development activities
