School Speech Language Pathologist - Shelton, WA

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Valid state licensure or eligibility in Speech-Language Pathology
• Prior experience in a school setting preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to create a positive, inclusive environment for students of diverse backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, identify, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Deliver direct therapy sessions and consult with teachers, parents, and staff
• Monitor progress, maintain documentation, and adjust interventions as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development activities
