Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Washington state licensure or eligibility to obtain
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates considered
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage and adapt to a varied caseload across multiple grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in IEP meetings
  • Develop individualized goals tailored to student needs, tracking progress and adjusting strategies as needed
  • Consult with teachers, special educators, and families to integrate speech-language supports within the general education setting
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation as required by district and state guidelines
  • Offer training or resources to staff and caregivers, promoting carryover of skills beyond the therapy setting
