A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support student communication development in a school setting located in Shepherd, Montana. This role involves providing direct therapy services and collaborating with educators to enhance speech and language outcomes for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver therapy sessions tailored to students’ communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate speech goals within the classroom environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and parent conferences.
- Travel between school sites as required to support students in various locations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) or appropriate state licensure.
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage caseload and paperwork efficiently.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned service area.
