Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are also encouraged to apply
- Experience working with school-aged children and adolescent populations
- Knowledge of IEPs and familiarity with IDEA requirements
- Strong assessment, intervention, and reporting skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation and review of educational plans
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services to meet students’ needs
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation of services provided and student progress
- Serve as a resource to school personnel and offer support for classroom modifications and strategies
- Engage in ongoing professional learning to stay current with research and best practices
