This contract opportunity involves serving a single campus and a close-knit caseload, fostering deeper relationships and effective interventions. Reporting directly to an experienced Lead SLP, you’ll collaborate on individualized strategies that help every student thrive.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Texas
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently and prioritize tasks
  • Commitment to evidence-based therapeutic interventions

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to approximately 55 students on one campus
  • Assess, develop, and implement IEP goals tailored to student needs
  • Monitor progress and maintain detailed data and reports in accordance with district and state requirements
  • Consult with the Lead SLP, teachers, and families to ensure holistic student support
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights for optimal student outcomes
  • Provide guidance to educators regarding communication supports and classroom strategies
  • Complete required documentation in a timely, organized manner

This contract runs from ASAP through May 12th, aligning with the academic calendar. The schedule is structured as 7.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, allowing for a predictable workweek and a balanced routine in the school environment.
