Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current CA SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience a plus
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
  • Ability to adapt to varying school environments and caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to help integrate therapy goals
  • Maintain clear, thorough documentation of student progress and required reports
  • Engage in team meetings, IEP reviews, and professional development activities
  • Travel between assigned school sites within the area as needed
