Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as an SLP in the state
  • Prior experience in pediatric or school-based settings strongly preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to documentation standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
  • Deliver engaging therapy sessions tailored to student needs
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support students’ academic and social achievement
  • Maintain thorough records of evaluations, treatment plans, progress, and outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary conferences, and professional development as required
  • Provide training and resources to support staff and family members
