School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Signal Mountain, Tennessee

Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a contract position supporting students in the Chattanooga area for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time opportunity is designed for dedicated professionals passionate about fostering communication skills and enhancing educational access for elementary-aged learners. You’ll work across one or more school sites, with caseload specifics to be determined as the district finalizes placements. Qualifications and Requirements:

• Hold an active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
• Possess a valid Department of Education certification as an SLP
• Prior experience in schools or with elementary-age students is highly desirable
• Ability to complete required fingerprinting and credentialing in a timely manner
• Flexibility to adapt to changing caseloads and assignments as they are finalized
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, families, and colleagues

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services to assigned students, focusing primarily on the elementary age range
• Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and collaborate with educators and families
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation meeting district and state requirements
• Adapt quickly to serve multiple school sites as needed
