Make an impact supporting K-12 students by using your school-based speech-language pathology expertise. This contract opportunity runs from August 17 through June 3, 2027, offering the chance to make a meaningful contribution throughout the academic year. The assignment is onsite and covers a traditional full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.

Key qualifications:

  • Valid Colorado Teaching License (CDE) is required
  • SLP Endorsement must be current
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred
  • Experience working with school-aged children, especially K-12 populations
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Primary responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide speech-language therapy for a diverse caseload of elementary through high school students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise for eligibility and planning
  • Maintain accurate, timely records in accordance with district and state guidelines
  • Adapt services to meet the unique challenges of the onsite school setting
