Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to K-12 students in accordance with IEP requirements
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain ongoing communication with teachers, parents, and school staff
- Document student progress, maintain up-to-date records, and participate in IEP/504 meetings
- Implement evidence-based practices tailored to meet each student's unique needs
- Offer consultation and training for school personnel on communication strategies and supports
