Envision making a difference in the lives of students by leveraging your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This exciting contract opportunity, based near Silver Spring, MD, is focused on supporting multiple school sites with impactful therapy services from August 10th, 2026, through June 9th, 2027. Collaborate with a diverse, student-centered team and enjoy a schedule of 37.5 hours per week that allows you to immerse yourself in a rewarding educational environment.

Successful candidates will deliver speech and language therapy to students, fostering communication skills essential for academic and personal achievement. This position is open to both Clinical Fellows (CFYs) and experienced SLP-CCC professionals ready to excel onsite.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Maryland SLP license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows considered
  • Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Must be comfortable working across multiple locations within the district (please provide home zip code for assignment logistics)
  • Onsite availability required

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in school-aged children
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required
  • Work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff
  • Travel between school sites as needed within the district
