School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Silver Spring, Maryland

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Maryland SLP license
• Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Certification—or willingness/eligibility to obtain
• Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is valued, though not mandatory
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough speech and language assessments and evaluations for K-12 students
• Develop and implement effective IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals and tailored treatment plans
• Deliver both direct and consultative therapy to students within the school environment
• Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with teachers, families, and IEP teams to best support each student’s progress
