Key Qualifications:
- Valid Maryland SLP license
- Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Certification—or willingness/eligibility to obtain
- Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is valued, though not mandatory
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments and evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop and implement effective IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals and tailored treatment plans
- Deliver both direct and consultative therapy to students within the school environment
- Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with teachers, families, and IEP teams to best support each student’s progress
