Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Silver Spring, MD

In this school-based SLP role, you’ll provide essential speech, language, and swallowing services to a diverse caseload. Your expertise will directly enhance students’ classroom success, social participation, and future opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and deliver evaluations for K-12 students
• Develop and tailor Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals for each student’s needs
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy in individual and group settings
• Engage collaboratively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary IEP teams
• Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adapt interventions as required

Qualifications:

• Valid SLP license in Maryland (required)
• Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Certification, or eligibility to obtain
• Previous experience in school or pediatric settings is a plus, but strong new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with students, families, and school staff
