Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Silver Spring, MD

Compensation ranges from $63,000 to $95,000 annually, depending on experience.

Key qualifications and experience desired:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
• Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare settings a plus
• Familiarity or comfort with teletherapy platforms and technology
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Compassion and adaptability in working with students with mild diagnoses and disorders

Core responsibilities:

• Provide direct evaluation and therapy services for students with mild speech and language impairments
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with educational teams
• Maintain thorough records, progress reports, and communication with families and staff
• Engage in school-based SLP programs, including teletherapy as needed
• Consult and provide resources to classroom teachers and other school professionals
