School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Silver Spring, Maryland

Current openings include placements at Wilde Lake High School, Forest Ridge Elementary, and Hammond Middle School. Scheduling options currently range from three to four days per week at each location, with the potential for expanding to five days. These roles require working onsite and provide the chance for collaborative work with both students and staff. The contract extends through June 2027, offering stability and professional continuity.

Key Qualifications:

• Maryland SLP License required (active and in good standing)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work with diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
