This position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services within school settings, supporting students’ communication needs and helping them excel academically and socially. The role involves traveling to various schools, delivering individualized therapy, and collaborating with educators and families to ensure the best outcomes for each student.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct therapy to students in individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development
  • Travel to multiple school locations as assigned

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working in school environments preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques based on student needs
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel regularly between schools
  • Knowledge of educational regulations and IEP processes

Location: This role is based in the Silver Spring, MD area, with travel required between assigned schools.
