Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Washington state SLP license (required)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for teamwork with staff, students, and families
  • Commitment to fostering positive learning environments for K-12 populations

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and screenings of students’ speech, language, and communication skills
  • Develop and implement effective IEPs and interventions targeting each student’s goals
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support integrated care
  • Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Advocate for students’ needs in IEP meetings and school-based teams
