Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Washington state SLP license (required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for teamwork with staff, students, and families
- Commitment to fostering positive learning environments for K-12 populations
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and screenings of students’ speech, language, and communication skills
- Develop and implement effective IEPs and interventions targeting each student’s goals
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support integrated care
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Advocate for students’ needs in IEP meetings and school-based teams
