Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid licensure and certification to practice as an SLP in California (or eligibility to obtain before the school year)
- Experience working in a school environment or with school-aged children
- Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and implement intervention plans tailored to diverse student needs
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and goal writing
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to student support strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely logs, reports, and evaluations
- Provide consultative services to classroom staff as needed
