Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Simi Valley, CA

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a welcoming educational setting near Simi Valley, CA. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact, working in person three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) for a total of 21 hours weekly.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current and valid state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows may be considered
• Previous experience working in a school environment or with pediatric populations is highly valued
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of IEP process and ability to implement individualized education plans

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of students’ speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and deliver individualized and group therapy sessions tailored to student goals
• Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare required reports
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other school professionals to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Stay current with best practices and state/federal regulations relevant to school-based speech-language pathology
