School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Simi Valley, California

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist, working 40 hours per week in a welcoming elementary school environment near Simi Valley, CA. You’ll have the chance to make a lasting impact on students across a caseload of 48, blending your expertise with the support of a collaborative team and dedicated therapy space. This assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through June 4th, giving you the opportunity to provide crucial services during the school year.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering speech and language therapy to a diverse elementary-age caseload
• Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Collaborating closely with classroom teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Attending IEP meetings each Thursday as part of an organized weekly schedule
• Utilizing creative and engaging therapy techniques in a supportive environment

To thrive in this role, the following qualifications and experience are desired:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Current SLP license in California
• Prior experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
