Two full-time positions are available, each supporting young learners across one or two school locations near Sioux Falls, SD. This role is ideal for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about helping children reach their communication potential in a school setting.
Required Qualifications:
- Current and valid SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous school-based experience preferred, especially with elementary age groups
- Excellent communication, organization, and record-keeping skills
- Ability to manage a dynamic caseload across multiple locations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to elementary students per IEP requirements
- Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and screenings as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and specialists
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech and language goals
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of student progress
- Participate in IEP and parent meetings as required
- Foster a supportive, positive environment for students
