This is an outstanding short-term travel role: fill a vital Pre-K SLP coverage (0.8 position) from August 19 to November 11, with a flexible 2–4 days per week schedule. You’ll collaborate with dedicated teams across two sites, providing a continuum of services to students ranging from speech-only support to those in self-contained classrooms. The experience you’ll gain—especially if familiar with AAC and comprehensive evaluations—will enhance your professional growth and strengthen your resume for future opportunities.
Qualifications/Experience:
- ASHA CCC required; SLP licensure for IL
- Experience with pre-K and early childhood populations preferred
- Familiarity with AAC and supporting augmentative communication users
- Competence in conducting speech-language evaluations
- Ability to collaborate with multi-site teams and participate in shared office space
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver services for approx. 35 Pre-K students identified with speech/language needs
- Attend Tuesday meetings—your participation is important!
- Travel between Madison and Lincoln sites as needed
- Collaborate on PBAs with district SLPs
- Support students with individualized and group interventions
