A maternity leave contract opportunity is available in Slater, MO, for a Speech-Language Professional to support an early childhood (EC) caseload of approximately 32 students. This position offers a schedule of four full days per week, with a potential half-day on Wednesday, and 6.5-hour workdays.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) credentials, including CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
- Experience working in school or pediatric healthcare settings
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is acceptable
- Consideration given to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) with willingness and ability to provide supervision
- Background in both school and healthcare environments a plus
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to early childhood students
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student communication goals
- Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state regulations
- Utilize SLPA support to enhance therapy delivery and caseload management
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
