Job Type Contract

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a dedicated speech-language professional. This position covers a maternity leave, beginning in mid-March and extending through the end of the school year. You'll work closely with young learners and collaborate with a skilled SLPA already on staff, providing meaningful impact across an early childhood caseload of approximately 32 students.

This role offers a four-day workweek, with the potential for a half day on Wednesdays and each workday lasting 6.5 hours. Support and supervision are available, and applicants at all experience levels—including SLPs with CCC, SLPs completing their clinical fellowship year (CFY), and SLPAs—are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of an approved SLPA program
  • Current licensure or eligibility as an SLP or SLPA
  • Credentials for school-based practice required
  • Pediatric or early childhood experience is a plus
  • Capable of providing supervision for SLPAs (if applicable)
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services to early childhood students
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and document student progress
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff
  • Provide or receive supervision as required by your credential level
  • Adjust support based on student needs and IEP requirements

As part of this contract assignment, you’ll have the chance to positively influence young learners’ communication skills while maintaining a flexible four-day schedule. The presence of another SLPA ensures a collaborative environment where your expertise will be valued and your contribution to student progress made visible.

If you’re ready to bring your dedication and skill to help students thrive this school year, please submit your application today. Your impact starts here!
