Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year! This full-time position begins August 20 and continues through June 4, offering the chance to work with a caseload of approximately 55-60 students across both elementary and secondary school settings. Whether your expertise lies in direct onsite care or teletherapy services, you'll play an essential role in empowering students to achieve their communication goals.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC), or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Prior experience in schools, pediatrics, or healthcare settings is valuable
- Comfortable managing caseloads in person or via teletherapy platforms
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in school-aged students
- Develop and implement individualized service plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, counselors, and support staff
- Engage in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and documentation
- Utilize both traditional and teletherapy modalities based on student and district requirements
- Provide support and guidance for students and families navigating speech-language interventions
