Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-5 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a school-based setting. This contract position offers one full-time and one part-time opening, both scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., with each role dedicated to a single school site. The assignment begins August 6, 2026, and runs through May 21, 2027.

Your expertise will make a tangible impact on young learners, fostering communication skills and supporting their growth within the school community. The specific caseload will be determined prior to your start.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active, valid SLP or SLPA license/certification (required)
  • Experience in a school-based setting, particularly with K-5 students, is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs and progress tracking
  • Strong collaboration skills and a commitment to working as part of an educational team
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in kindergarten through fifth grade
  • Conduct evaluations and create treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain detailed records of student performance and document services provided
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support strategies
