Pediatric SLP in Smithville, MO

Step into a dynamic role supporting students’ communication growth across three school locations in the area. This contract position begins August 24, 2026, and runs through June 10, 2027 (including Extended School Year dates), offering a chance to make a meaningful difference within a collaborative educational environment. Whether you’re a Certified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or CFY) or a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you’ll have the opportunity to deliver high-quality therapy to children and adolescents ages 3 to 18 with mild to moderate needs.

What We’re Seeking:

• Valid credential as a Certified Speech Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY) or SLPA (supervision provided; requires additional days)
• Experience or strong interest in school-based settings, pediatrics, or healthcare
• Familiarity with teletherapy services a plus
• Expertise in providing supportive, evidence-based therapy for mixed, primarily mild to moderate caseloads
• Comfortable traveling between three assigned school locations
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Role Highlights:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students ages 3-18
• Develop and implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques, including virtual and in-person modalities
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
• For SLPAs: work under SLP supervision; increased schedule (3 days/week) as needed

This position features a flexible, part-time schedule (7.5 hours per day, 2 days per week for SLP, or 3 days per week for SLPA) and offers pay ranging from $40–$52 per hour, commensurate with experience.
