Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or CFY) supporting a diverse population ranging from kindergarten through 22 years old. This full-time, contract opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to focus fully on the needs of students while working alongside dedicated professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver speech-language therapy services tailored to students’ individual needs
- Address a range of skills, including assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and language development delays
- Conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing, interpreting results to create clear and informative reports
- Comfortable providing therapy to students with moderate to severe disabilities, ages 2 to 22
- Develop and maintain comprehensive IEP objectives
- Collaborate closely with parents and colleagues, ensuring student progress is communicated clearly and support needs are met
Qualifications:
- Must hold, or be eligible to hold, a Delaware state SLP license
- Previous experience with moderate to severe needs is an asset
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team
- Flexible mindset and adept at problem-solving
