Exciting opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists (both SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY) to work in an engaging educational environment near Smyrna, GA. This contract role runs from July 27, 2026, through May 28, 2027, offering a rewarding chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of middle and high school students.
You will focus on supporting students’ communication, social skills, and academic success in a collaborative school setting. The assignment will be situated at a single school site, with specific caseloads and details still being finalized. Current estimates indicate caseloads may include 45–55 students.
Key Qualifications:
- GA PSC certification (required for this school year)
- Active professional state license for Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA certification or eligibility for CFY supervision
- Demonstrated experience in a school-based setting (middle or high school experience preferred)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation, progress notes, and reports
- Engage with families, teachers, and staff to optimize student outcomes
- Deliver therapy services in group and individual settings
- Adapt therapy plans to accommodate changing caseloads and student needs
