Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Current or eligible state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience in schools, pediatrics, or healthcare settings highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders in children
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and therapy strategies tailored for school-aged students
- Superior collaboration and communication skills with students, educators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students across various grade levels
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students’ communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes in compliance with district and state requirements
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other multidisciplinary team members
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute recommendations to support student outcomes
- Stay current with best practices and professional standards in school-based speech therapy
