Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Current or eligible state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience in schools, pediatrics, or healthcare settings highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders in children
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs and therapy strategies tailored for school-aged students
  • Superior collaboration and communication skills with students, educators, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students across various grade levels
  • Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students’ communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other multidisciplinary team members
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute recommendations to support student outcomes
  • Stay current with best practices and professional standards in school-based speech therapy
