School Speech Language Pathologist - Soddy Daisy, Tennessee

We are seeking two highly motivated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for contract employment. This opportunity offers a rewarding way to contribute to student success while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

This full-time, 35-hour per week role begins August 5, 2026, and continues through May 19, 2027. While final caseload and age group details are forthcoming, these positions have traditionally supported elementary-aged students. Assignments may involve working across more than one school, providing a unique opportunity to reach a diverse student population.

Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license required
• Active DOE certification as an SLP in Tennessee
• Previous experience in school settings is highly desirable
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A passion for fostering language, articulation, and social-communication development
• Willingness to complete time-sensitive credentialing, including fingerprinting

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students' speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure student progress
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Contribute to IEP meetings and student support planning
• Provide direct and consultative services as assigned
