Key Qualifications:
- Current, active SLP licensure
- Valid Department of Education certificate for SLP
- Experience providing services in school settings (preferred)
- Willingness to complete required fingerprinting as part of credentialing
- Previous caseload experience with elementary-aged students considered beneficial
- Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a dedication to collaborative work
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy within an assigned range of local schools
- Support students’ ability to succeed academically and socially through evidence-based interventions
- Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to develop and implement IEP goals
- Conduct thorough assessments and maintain accurate, timely records
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment to encourage student engagement
- Adapt therapeutic techniques to fit varying needs once caseload details are finalized
