Work as a Speech Therapist supporting a vibrant K-12 district for the 26/27 school year. This full-time, contract-based opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about helping students develop essential communication skills. Both SLP-CCC and Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply, as new graduates are welcome and supported in this role. You'll work closely with students, educators, and families, making a meaningful impact across various grade levels.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license for California or eligibility for licensure
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for CFY supervision
  • Previous experience with school-aged children preferred, but enthusiastic new grads will be considered
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose students’ speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student goals
  • Deliver direct therapy services to K-12 students in small group and individual settings
  • Record and monitor student progress; maintain detailed documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations and annual reviews
  • Consult with teachers and families to support student success in academic and social contexts
  • Stay current with professional best practices and continuing education
