Step into an enriching opportunity to make a difference as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students from transitional kindergarten through 8th grade. This contract role begins August 7, 2026 and extends through June 4, 2027, encompassing 180 school days as well as 20 additional days allocated for preparation and wrap-up. You’ll serve a mixed caseload of 58 students, all at one convenient location near Solvang, CA.

This position emphasizes flexibility and balance, with a consistent weekly schedule across five days and a total of 1600 hours for the year. You’ll collaborate with educators and families to foster communication and academic growth through both direct and teletherapy services, working closely with students who have a wide range of needs.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • CTC credential required, or working toward completion with supporting documentation; candidates are responsible for related fees
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • ASHA CCC-SLP; consideration for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants
  • Demonstrated experience in pediatric and school-based settings
  • Comfortable with teletherapy as part of service delivery
  • Passion for working with diverse populations and collaborating within a school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and virtual speech-language therapy to a diverse caseload
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Complete documentation, IEP goals, and progress reports in a timely manner
  • Engage with families and staff to promote student success
  • Participate in pre- and post-academic year activities as needed

Pay for this opportunity ranges between $45 and $55 per hour, reflecting your expertise and dedication.
