Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to a rewarding contract opportunity in a welcoming school environment close to beautiful Solvang, CA! This unique position allows you to make a positive impact on students’ lives while enjoying a flexible schedule—just one day a week, 8 hours per day. The assignment runs from ASAP through June 4, 2027, covering 180 school days plus an extra 20 days before and after the main academic calendar.

Your experience with pediatric clients and ability to communicate effectively will shine in a supportive educational setting. Teletherapy experience is a plus and will help you deliver services in innovative ways. You’ll join a collaborative team devoted to helping students overcome communication challenges.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license and either CTC permit (or currently working toward it; documentation required, permit must be self-paid)
  • SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, and school-based SLP experience encouraged
  • Background in pediatric speech-language healthcare or educational settings
  • Strong skills in both in-person and virtual (teletherapy) speech services
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized therapy plans, and monitor progress
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders
  • Maintain detailed records in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Participate in relevant meetings and professional development
