Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • State license as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain upon hire)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support educational success and positive outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports as required by the school and regulatory guidelines
  • Conduct group and individual therapy sessions according to best practices
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
