Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- State license as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain upon hire)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support educational success and positive outcomes
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports as required by the school and regulatory guidelines
- Conduct group and individual therapy sessions according to best practices
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
