School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Sonoma, California

Enhance students’ communication skills while working in a supportive educational environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for the 2026-2027 academic year. This in-person, contract role focuses on serving elementary-aged students over three days per week. You’ll collaborate closely with a dedicated special education team, helping young learners reach their full potential through improved speech and language abilities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and active SLP-CCC certification
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Prior experience or strong interest in working within elementary school settings
• Familiarity with developing and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students on-site
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, screenings, and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with teachers and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and document student progress effectively
• Offer consultation and resources to school staff regarding speech and language development
• Maintain accurate and confidential records consistent with state and district guidelines
