Enhance students’ communication skills while working in a supportive educational environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for the 2026-2027 academic year. This in-person, contract role focuses on serving elementary-aged students over three days per week. You’ll collaborate closely with a dedicated special education team, helping young learners reach their full potential through improved speech and language abilities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and active SLP-CCC certification
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior experience or strong interest in working within elementary school settings
- Familiarity with developing and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students on-site
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, screenings, and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with teachers and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and document student progress effectively
- Offer consultation and resources to school staff regarding speech and language development
- Maintain accurate and confidential records consistent with state and district guidelines
