Speech Language Pathologist in Sonoma, CA

Two full-time Speech-Language Pathologist roles are available: one serving a middle school caseload, and another covering two elementary school sites. Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or equivalent
• Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
• Experience working in a school-based setting preferred
• Current licensure to practice as an SLP
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities
• Ability to manage diverse caseloads and tailor intervention plans
• Commitment to fostering positive learning environments for students at various developmental stages

Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, assessments, and diagnose speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized plans to address communication goals
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to ensure cohesive student support
• Attend IEP meetings and document progress according to school requirements
• Provide direct therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices
• Offer consultative support and guidance to classroom staff as needed
• Support students in achieving greater academic access and social participation
