Two full-time Speech-Language Pathologist roles are available: one serving a middle school caseload, and another covering two elementary school sites. Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or equivalent
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working in a school-based setting preferred
- Current licensure to practice as an SLP
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Ability to manage diverse caseloads and tailor intervention plans
- Commitment to fostering positive learning environments for students at various developmental stages
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and diagnose speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized plans to address communication goals
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to ensure cohesive student support
- Attend IEP meetings and document progress according to school requirements
- Provide direct therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices
- Offer consultative support and guidance to classroom staff as needed
- Support students in achieving greater academic access and social participation
