Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Active SLP license with CCC certification
  • Experience or interest in working with diverse school-aged children
  • Background in supervising SLPA staff or willingness to mentor
  • Proficiency with creating and maintaining Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Exceptional communication and organizational abilities
  • Collaborative mindset, able to work closely with educators, families, and support personnel

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop and implement personalized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Write and manage IEPs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and regular progress documentation
  • Supervise and mentor SLPA staff, fostering growth and best practice
  • Provide both direct and indirect therapy sessions in accordance with student needs
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insights
  • Maintain timely records and contribute to the overall success of the student-centered team
