Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current California state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is advantageous
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting assessments, developing and implementing individual therapy plans
- Working closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitoring student progress and updating IEP goals as needed
- Delivering engaging group or one-on-one sessions in a supportive school environment
- Providing consultation and strategies to support students’ communication needs
In addition to professional growth, you can expect competitive compensation between $55 and $70 per hour, based on experience and assignment details.
