Step into a rewarding opportunity providing speech and language support for students in a vibrant pre-school through 4th grade setting near South Burlington, VT. This part-time contract position offers a flexible 4-day workweek, serving a manageable caseload of 15 students at a single, close-knit school. Ideal for those who excel in school-based speech-language pathology and prefer a balanced schedule, this role warmly welcomes Speech-Language Pathologists with CCC or CFY, as well as SLPAs, with appropriate supervision provided.

What you will bring:

  • Current or eligible Vermont licensure as an SLP (CCC or CFY) or SLPA
  • Experience supporting students in educational settings is highly valued
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with families, staff, and students
  • Ability to adapt therapy to individual student needs in small group and one-on-one settings
  • Enthusiasm for helping young learners develop speech, language, and communication skills

In this role, you will:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to approximately 15 students
  • Deliver services based on IEPs, ranging from 1 to 5 days a week per student
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress records
  • Participate in team meetings and support school initiatives
  • Receive supervision if you are a Clinical Fellow or SLPA
