This part-time contract position offers a flexible 4-day workweek, serving a manageable caseload of 15 students at a single, close-knit school. Ideal for those who excel in school-based speech-language pathology and prefer a balanced schedule, this role warmly welcomes Speech-Language Pathologists with CCC or CFY, as well as SLPAs, with appropriate supervision provided.
What you will bring:
- Current or eligible Vermont licensure as an SLP (CCC or CFY) or SLPA
- Experience supporting students in educational settings is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with families, staff, and students
- Ability to adapt therapy to individual student needs in small group and one-on-one settings
- Enthusiasm for helping young learners develop speech, language, and communication skills
In this role, you will:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to approximately 15 students
- Deliver services based on IEPs, ranging from 1 to 5 days a week per student
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress records
- Participate in team meetings and support school initiatives
- Receive supervision if you are a Clinical Fellow or SLPA
