A fulfilling contract opportunity is now available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist eager to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant educational setting for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This full-year position offers the chance to work with a diverse student caseload, providing both direct and consultative services to elementary, middle, and high school students. With a consistent weekday schedule from 7:45am to 3:30pm, you’ll play a vital role in supporting communication development and academic achievement across multiple grade levels.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Active SLP license (or eligibility) for the state of Michigan
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) also encouraged to apply
  • School-based SLP experience or strong clinical background with pediatric populations
  • Familiarity with IEP process, documentation, and consultative models
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language pathology services to a caseload of 38 elementary students, 13 middle school students, and 1 high school student
  • Conduct thorough assessments, create and monitor IEP goals, and maintain accurate records
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement therapeutic interventions
  • Provide education and resources to families and staff to encourage language and communication growth beyond the classroom
